Our Rabbi and His Family
Rabbi Benmergui, his wife Rachel, and their four children started their service at Adams Street Synagogue on August 23rd, 2021.
Rabbi Benmergui and his family have lived in Boston since 2008. Originally from NJ, Rabbi Benmergui studied in Ohr Hachaim, followed by the Mir Yeshiva in Israel and finally in the Boston Kollel. His wife Rachel, from Queens NY has dedicated herself to her family. Together with their four children, the Benmergui family feels blessed to be part of the greater Boston community and continues to dedicate themselves to the Klal

To the Adams St community,
I would like to introduce myself in an official capacity as the Rabbi of your wonderful shul. I have met some of you briefly but I hope to meet and get to know all of you in a more meaningful way. I would like to thank you and the board for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your community.
